Tonight we all gather for the NCAA Men's National Championship.

We are looking at the University of North Carolina. We all know that they would be here. But what interests me is the opponent. I am really looking forward to seeing just what Michigan State is going to bring to the table tonight.

While most will be placing their hard earned money on UNC, I am putting all of my hopes behind Michigan State. Not only are they pretty much playing at home, they have a momentum that might not be able to be stopped.

May the beat team win!

UCONN and Villanova Move on to the Final Four

March Madness! ! !

Villanova made a great run in the last few seconds to take a seat in next weekends Final Four. I know that I have been wondering for the last two weeks, "When is Pitt going to lose???" I know that they are a number 1 seed, but they have not impressed me since the first game. I am not even sure how they made it this far.

I never really had a doubt that UCONN would win tonight. They have been solid since the beginning f the tournament. I would not say that they are unstoppable, but they are one hell of a force to be reckoned with.

Tomorrow brings a lot of action as well. The lone ranger from the Big XII, Oklahoma plays host to the the number 1 seeded North Carolina. We also get to see a great match between Michigan State and Louisville. I am looking forward to some great basketball.

Villanova and Mizzou Kick Ass

Tonight was a great night in college basketball!

I loved seeing Memphis and Duke just getting stomped. Mizzou, a project of the highly under rated Big XII, scored 102 points against a very stout Memphis defense.

As far as Villanova whooping up on Duke. . .

I do not even think Duke knew that they had a game tonight. I felt embarrassed for all of the fans of Duke that thought that they actually EVER had a chance tonight.

As far as the other two games went tonight, of course, UCONN took it to the house. I think that right now, they are almost unstoppable. And once again, somehow or another, Pitt was able to escape upset for the third time in this tournament.

March Madness is in Full Swing

Whether you have been watching it or not, March Madness is in full swing. So far, almost everything is going as expected. There were a few "upsets" in the first round, but they were all taken care of in the second round.

The action starts up again tomorrow, and I am guessing that there will not be any crazy upsets. I expect there to be a few really good games, but nothing crazy. I could be wrong, and you must remember, ITS MARCH MADNESS BABY!!!
